[Fireside Chat] The World Summit of Information Society - 20 Years Review

2025 is an important year for the WSIS process. In the latter half of 2025, governments at the United Nations will evaluate the progress achieved in implementing the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) outcomes, including WSIS+20, and determine the path forward, which may include reaffirming the multistakeholder collaborative framework and extending the mandate of the Internet Governance Forum (IGF). This session will feature speakers from Internet organizations, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), and the government of Egypt to share insights and perspectives, and make suggestions on how the Internet community in the Middle East can contribute to the process.
