Abdelaziz Hilali, a retired Professor from the Moroccan Telecommunications Graduate Institution (INPT), earned his PhD in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from the University of Grenoble in 1987. With over three decades of service at INPT, he held various management positions, including Deputy Director. Dr. Hilali was a prolific researcher, publishing numerous scientific papers and organizing congresses on Internet Governance and IT. He was a key figure in establishing ISOC Morocco in 1994 and resumed presidency in 2023, leading the organization's efforts to promote the internet in Morocco. He played significant roles in global internet governance, including chairing AFRALO and serving on ICANN's Multi-Stakeholder Advisory Group. Currently, he continues to contribute to knowledge dissemination through lecturing and participation in regional and international internet governance forums.
