KADIR ERDOĞAN

Kadir Erdoğan started his career as an assistant in the computer laboratory of the Middle East Technical University (METU) Mathematics department about 30 years ago. After working actively in fields like DNS, DNSSEC, domain names, system engineering, application security, and cyber security, he then assumed management responsibilities.

 

In 2001, he began working at nic . Tr as a software engineer. He was given the position of technical group director in 2006 and served in that capacity for 13 years. He made significant contributions to the TRABIS transition protocol agreed to by METU and BTK, and he also served as the system's architect along with the BTK team and nic . Tr.

 

He participated throughout ODTÜ G's entire founding process. V. B. T. A. S. (METUnic), a company that METU established in 2019. Later, in the same year, he left his position at nic . Tr and began serving as the deputy general manager at METUnic, a position he has held ever since.
