ÖMER ABDULLAH KARAGÖZOĞLU

Since 13 August 2018, Mr. Ömer Abdullah Karagözoğlu has served as the Chairman of the Board and President of the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK) of the Republic of Türkiye.Prior to this, he held the positions of Chairman's Advisor and Board Member for the BTK.

 

In the years before that,from 2002-2004, Mr. Karagözoğlu worked as a software engineer at Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (İSKİ) of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM). At BELBIM, an IMM technology company, between 2002 and 2016, he held a number of managerial positions.
