PHOTCHANAN RATANAJAIPAN

Photchanan Ratanajaipan is the Chair of the Thailand UA local initiative, which aims to raise awareness of the importance of UA to the public sector, government agencies, businesses, and the technical community. She has been promoting Internationalized Domain Name (IDN), Email Address Internationalization (EAI), and addressing the acceptance of all domain names and email addresses since 2018. Photchanan believes that IDN and UA are important for the continued expansion of the Internet while narrowing the language gap for people with limited English literacy. She urges companies to have their information system improved to be UA-ready, so that all domains and email addresses can be received and used correctly.
