SHAIKH AHMED BIN ISA ALKHALIFA

Shaikh Ahmed bin Isa Alkhalifa has been with the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority for over 13 years. He has been involved with the ICT Department, Cyber Security Department, and was an Advisor to the Minister of State for Communications on Cyber Security. Shaikh Ahmed has overseen the project of migrating the Domain Names Registry System from the incumbent to the TRA, he was involved from the very beginning of drafting and working on the rules for the Domain Names up until the official relaunch to the open market, as well as the process of delegation of the Arabic .Albahrain to the kingdom of Bahrain through ICANN. Shaikh Ahmed currently serves as Head of External Affairs at the TRA.
