NASHWA ABDELBAKI

Dr. Nashwa Abdelbaki is the Information Security Program Director, School of CIT, Nile University, Egypt. She also leads the research group cloud computing and interactive multimedia. Dr. Abdelbaki received her PhD (Doctor of Engineering) from Ulm University, Germany, M.Sc. from Ain Shams University, and B.Sc. from Cairo University, Egypt. In the late 80s and early 1990s, Dr. Abdelbaki was an early Internet pioneer, bringing Internet connectivity to Egypt. She helped to build Egypt's national networks and took technical lead of the Egyptian Universities Network. She established the basics of the Egyptian Top Level Domain .EG and shared organizing many international conferences such as ISOC/INET.
