ABDULRAHMAN ALMARZOUQI

Abdulrahman Almarzouqi is the Director of Digital Policies at the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) of UAE. He has over 15 years of experience in Telecommunication, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Networking, and the Internet Industry.

His current role is to oversee digital policies at the national level as well as Internet policy issues within the UAE, and manages initiatives and projects that develop the digital ecosystem. His role also involves managing national policies for Trust services, Domain Names, and Internet Access.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering (honors) from Khalifa University of Science and Technology in the UAE, and a master’s degree in Engineering Management (honors) from the University of Wollongong in Australia.
